This is the 7th Year of Crafts & Drafts and we can't think of a better way to kick off Milwaukee Beer Week! At Crafts & Drafts, you'll have a chance to try different beers from an amazing array of breweries, as well as being able to chat with brewery owners, brewmasters, and brewery representatives.
Besides all of the great regular and seasonal beers that will be featured at Crafts & Drafts, each table will also feature a Very Important Beer. All you'll need to try a sample of one of these hard-to-find VIBs, is a Tasting Ticket, which will be available for purchase at the event - $1 per ticket.
Not only will there be regular beers, seasonal beers, and VIBs, but we'll be topping it off with our VIP Tasting Area. In here, you'll find 28 of the most-prized beers which we could could gather up for you. Tasting Tickets will also be needed for these samples. VIP Admission Ticketholders will receive a batch of 25 Tasting Tickets when they enter the event, and additional Tasting Tickets will be available to purchase at the event, $1 per ticket.
And the best part of the event is that it's all for charity!
WOCA started in 2000 after Joan Sagan, an oncology nurse, was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She knew immediately that she wanted to start a group in Wisconsin that did for ovarian cancer what the Komen Foundation did for breast cancer. Our Mission: Education, Support, and Advocacy. WOCA pledges to create awareness of the subtle symptoms of ovarian cancer. WOCA works to support Wisconsin women and their families in their battle with ovarian cancer. That includes, but is not limited to, developing and distributing educational materials, promoting support systems, and creating networking groups. WOCA’s membership supports the advocacy efforts of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance to secure funds and advance research on the national level. WOCA also supports state programs that are dedicated to ovarian cancer research.
